On September 30, members of the President’s Circle and above got a private behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming arts season of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.  Members and their guests enjoyed the elaborate food creations from the mastermind of Barton G., while highlights from various season programs were featured throughout the night.  From a sneak peak of Flamenco Festival Miami 2010 to a full-out performance of “Defying Gravity” from the hit Broadway show Wicked, everyone present definitely felt like a true Center insider.

Executive Vice President Scott Shiller introduced the night with an upcoming look at the much-anticipated return of the Celebrity Chef Series as well as a preview of the in-house restaurant, Prelude by Barton G.  Throughout the evening, each Arsht Center Programming Director took the spotlight as they showcased their particular programs such as Jazz Roots, Cabaret & Cocktails, and the Masterworks Season, among others.

To close the special evening, president and C.E.O. M. John Richard moved the audience when he spoke about the importance of the performing arts here in the Miami community.  With the Adrienne Arsht Center at the focal point of this growing cultural movement, it was apparent that something was brewing in the room as members left with a sense of excitement and inspiration from their insider’s look.  Indeed, the preview of this fourth season at the Arsht Center left people with so much excitement and anticipation that our members can’t wait for next year’s “Insider’s Look”!
