November marks the beginning of the Adrienne Arsht Center’s new World Music Series.  Kicking off the season is Buika, the Spanish singing sensation who just received TWO Latin Grammy® nominations and announced her collaboration with award-winning Spanish film guru Pedro Almodovar.  BUIKA also appears on Seal’s latest album, Commitment, lending her unmistakable soulful sound to the most romantic track on the album, titled “You Get Me.”  Says BUIKA, “Imagine someone tells you ‘you get me,’ just like the rays of the sun have trapped me.  To love someone like that is wonderful.”  BUIKA will light up the Adrienne Arsht Center’s John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall stage with her passionate presence and fiery vocals on November 20 – embodying the true crossroads of jazz, flamenco, and neo-soul.
