In January, more than 1,000 people descended upon the Miami Herald parking lot for their first-ever Street Food Truck Friday.

The great success of this event prompted  the Center to partner with The Herald to bring back the event in February—but with a whole new twist: “Flamenco Food Truck Friday.” Guests enjoyed 17 gourmet food trucks, offering specialty tapas items such as “The Cadiz Crepe,” “Tap! Tap! Tap! Taco Carnitas!,”  and “Chocolate Chipsy King” ice cream. Beautiful Flamenco dancers entertained another crowd of more than 1,000 as they enjoyed their meals, and sexy  gents passed out red carnations to all the señoritas—while listening to a lovely mix of Flamenco-inspired music and the random shouts of “Olé! Olé!” from the Adrienne Arsht Center MC and on-air personality Alberto Sardinas from Amor 107FM.

Next up: Food Truck Friday “In the Heights”, March 18, in honor of the upcoming Tony Award-wining musical.
